Removing the trunk lid liner

Removing the trunk lid liner
I am getting "License plate left lamp malfunction" messages when I start the car, so I guess I need to change the bulb.
The truck lid liner appears to be attached with snaps, but before I go and break something, I figured I'd ask if anyone has ever removed it before. Is it a simple getting a screwdriver behind it to pop it out of it's hole or is there something else I should be aware of before I attempt this?
Also, if you happen to know the specs on the bulb or part #, I'd appreciate that also.
