Rear view mirror w/compass

My Ride: 2012 535i M package
Hello everyone the other day I bought from ebay the rear view mirror that has the compass on it .. today I received the package and installed .. but surprise the compass doesnt work, the led does is this a plug and play thing? I think it is here is the link of the mirror so anyone can see it

any help on how to conect this thing or maybe damaged I just plug the cables ..
