My Ride: (USA) 645Ci, Silver Gray, Chateau, Cold Weather PKG, Premium Sound PKG, Sport PKG, Step, NAV [Std Equip in 645], HUD, Satellite (SIRIUS) Radio, Aux Input, Bluetooth enabled using iPhone 3GS w/ adapter cradle - Build date - 01/05, Baby delivered 2/24/05
Several installs completed in last two days on recent builds by owners have worked fine out of the box. Never saw the dealer. Not sure all will be but never hurts to try. Some dealers may use scare tactics to lure you in for what may be unnecessary coding. Maybe try it forst then go in if it does not work.

Just asked my dealer in Spain. They didn't know about it, but checked in the system and... it's there.
Cost in Spain 218,93 euros + taxes.

Maybe someone out there knows the answer to this... If we in the US don't have Logic 7 which in 2004 included the CD changer is there a way to tell if we have " SA 694 CD changer preparation" ?

Just called my dealer, shown as not available, however is priced at ?169+vat. Any ideas on avail in the UK ?

will this cancel the CD changer?
Also I don know how it will work without coding as the vehicle will look for a new device, and the idrive wont show the new name (ipod or auc etc) until its programmed, so if someone never had a cip update or atleast not recently then dont think it will work like that...
