ok, I have an 04 530i build date march 04 with the premium sound (logic 7), Cd changer in glove box and it is coded and plays MP3 discs from the single slot dash cd player (not from the CD changer). If I read all these posts correctly???
All I need to do is remove my cd changer and install an Ipod adapter??? If this is correct, can someone provide part number??
Lastly, I had dealer install the Aux input will that still work, or would I lose the Aux for the swap to the ipod.

My Ride: 2005 530i Individual, DVD Package, HUD, Bluetooth, Comfort Seats, SR, etc
until a certain point of cip update version if you had mp3 and 6cd changer then swapping the changer with the ipod most worked like a charm. But recently i don know from which progman cip version even if you have mp3 and cd changer the idrive needs a retrofit in order to get the ipod most enabled. And yes your aux input will remain. You ase only swapping your changer.
