Do you want DRL? Or do you not want DRL? Post your trace file for your module.

Hi all,

a lot of these codes are working for me: folding mirrors, video in motion, skip am, double blinking hazards (using nettodat.man), however, the acoustic function is not working for me, even though I have the alarm.

Any suggestions?

Once you enable it in the CCC you have to switch it on in the door locks / confirmation menu.

My Ride: BMW 525dA 2007 pre-LCI.

Got it working yesterday and can code every module. Using the V41 daten files.
Read all 34 pages in this thread to find as much info as possible.

Mine is an pre-LCI with LM2 and halogen lights.

My experience sofar :

- Welcome lights got them working. But havn't figured out how to add the Eyebrows.

- VA_WELCOMELIGHT in CAPPL doesn't work. Can't find anything back in the iDrive.

- VA_CORNERINGLIGHT nothing added in Idrive. No idea if this is possible on my car. Also no idea what to expect, which are the cornering lights ?

- AMBANDS doesn't work . Should be together with NEXT_SOURCE but can't find that anywhere. This is a pitty as I hate those AM bands when i use the button on the steering wheel.

- HEIMLEUCHTEN_FUNKSCHL doesn't work. Nothing happens when i quick press on the trunk release button.

- ABWAHL_AC works.

- AE as DRL works but only on the outer ones, the inner ones don't light up. Weird nobody has mentioned this. Would like the Eye brows to light up also, but that doesn't seem possible .

- MELDUNG_TASTER works.

So all in all i am happy but alot of stuff seems to be different on my car.

Any help is appreciated.

ASP_EC_INPUT <- not sure what this does
ASP_LIN_SPIEGEL <-Tells the KGM to send mirror control codes over the LIN bus.
ASP_MEMORY <-mirror memory function
ASP_STANDHEIZUNG <- not sure, translation is stand heating
BEIKLAPPEN_B_KOMFORTSCHL <-mirror comfort folding

and thats it im afraid. I have yet to get mirrors to auto dim after I did SA430 auto dim/folding mirror retrofit.
My two cents:
STANDHEIZUNG means Parking Heater or Stationary Heater.

Parking heater in the BMW 3 Series Sedan.
The optional remote control parking heater is ideal on cold days. It creates a warm cabin in no time, even if the engine isn't running. The system works by taking energy from the fuel system and using it to warm a water heater. At temperatures below 16 °C, the parking heater can be set to come on automatically at a given time or switched on manually at any temperature.

Is your"VA_CORNERINGLIGHT" set to aktiv in the CAPPL Menu?

i got these values from e90post.. i was able to add the light sensitivity to the idrive, however, when i try to change my current setting, sensitive, to slower it changes for a second and then it goes right back to the original setting. any ideas?
For this, you perhaps need to set "FLC_OHNE_RLS" and "KONFIG_RLS_GESCHW" to Aktiv.

Let me know if this helps you.

Cheers
