Quick question, I did the MHUD enable on my E70, I get the 3 colour bar, and the gear, but the RPM doesn't change on the bar. Am

 

Do you just have NCSExpert cable to program or must have a program as well?

Which of these cables are suitable for code such as is done here before?

guys what am i doing wrong?

i read the trc file edit it save it as .man then go back to ncs exper select f3 it says coding does its thing then i read the trc file again and the changes have not taken effect?

no errors nothing all followed to the letter... odd i added digi v speedo all ok but no other modules are taking i am confused now

 

Are you using Revtor's NCS Expert or Fisher Profile when you code? You need to choose one of those and not one of the default profiles that come with NCS Expert.

 

There is an entyre procedure to follow when you work with NCS, especially on the first use. Unfortunately i don't have it at the office...

 

as i say i have coded it all before yeah i have all the profiles going... just realised i may need to check the job type.
managed to add mp3 to fa on both modules cas and lma iirc my car has.

my problem is my version is all in german its a pain i changed the config files language to english but nothing changed

 

Friend it's a little more complicated than that. You'll need to have english files and call those files for it to change language type. For job SGCODERIN should be the job when you are executing a final job. I'm not sure if you were successful because I'm a little confused as to whether you actually changed the FA. If you are changing the FA of the car and adding +KMP3 you should do it to both the CAS and LMA as per BMW engineering directions.
