My 2004 545i motorsport has a engine miss after having travelled at a constant 100kph for say 10 kms ...it starts from the time you stop and slowly accelerate under load for about 200mtres then clears...have had the local bmw workshop test with their attached computer but the fault does not happen when they have tester attached ..plus no stored fault shows...I'm thinking a cracked plug, faulty coil...bad fuel...does not happen around town only when on motorway after constant speed ...stopping...then pulling away...
