Hello,

My issue is regarding my 2004 530i. I've been getting an increased emissions code for about the last two weeks or so. From what I can gather here on the forum, it is most likely a faulty 02 sensor, although I have found a thread stating that a dirty MAF may be an issue. Is there a step by step DIY on replacing 02 sensors? I have searched and cannot track it down. I plan to run an OBD2 scan prior to jumping in.

Also, I am just about due for 60k service (I'm at a little less than 59k) would this be causing the increased emissions? I was thinking that maybe the spark plugs may be the cause.

Any insight is appreciated...
