Dear Members, i am new to this forum, i am trying to find information if its possible to reset the IDRIVE on E60 2004, there was cd stuck in the cd player i took it out after opening the whole cd player but now the idrive keep saying ejecting cd but there is no cd inside, also it wont accept any cd. i would really appreciate all your help, there may be an other way to fix the cd player? thank you in advance.

 

Do you have a NAV w\DVD drive? Try pushing the volume button down while holding the CD and DVD eject buttons down at the same time...On another note...maybe you broke the CD player? Not to be a smart ass or anything. Good Luck.

 

Thanks for your reply, sorry there is no DVD or NAV drive, just simple CD player, i bought this car about 6 months ago, i dont know if there is anything else worng, wanted to fix it myslef before i go down to the dealers. i have tried the comb( volum+eject) but no luck. thank you again

 

Try if disconnecting the battery for a half an hour would help anything.
