Hi folks,

This thread has made for some very interesting reading indeed. I'm quite keen to try some of this myself. Just wanted to check if this cable would do the trick:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/INPA-Ediabas-K-DCAN-USB-Interface-D-CAN-EA90X-BMW-/320620830798?pt=UK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item4aa67da04e
INPA / Ediabas K+DCAN USB Interface D-CAN EA90X for BMW

Is this the only piece of hardware required? And the rest is just software? I have the HUD and would love the M display!

Cheers!

The cable supports Ediabas so it should work. But you only know by testing.

This one works http://cgi.benl.ebay.be/BMWTEQ-BMW-D...item4aa6718c49

With the right cable and the FULL (!) version of INPA your good to go.

Has anyone managed to get NCS to work on a 64bit Windows 7 machine? INPA seems to work ok, but NCS refuses to load
I've tried running it in XP SP3 compatibility mode, but no joy...

The standard EU setup does not have the HiFi OEM Amp.

Does anyone want a cable that works absolutely fine. I thought the cable I bought previously was not correct. So I landed up buying another one but that Blood confirmed that my original cable was correct as well.

So now I have an extra COM port version and an extra USB port version. Both of which work fine.

If anyone is interested in these then please send me a PM and we can work something out.
