Hi all,

Between all other stuff i managed to make DIS and SSS (v34) working on Win7 laptop and USB to Serial cable. With great info from BimmerForums
Due to the fact that my car was recently updated in the BMW shop to latest CIP, Progman is now complaining after reading VO about
"the connected vehicle has unknown data status (5.22, UNBEKANNTE_I_STUFE), witch can not be handled with progman!
Make sure you have loaded the latest version of Progman CD or contact your Technical Support." .

I've managed to adapt the VO with NCS Expert (CAS and LMA), code CCC for CDC and MP3 (still searching for the proper RDS function).

Now I want to update SSS to v38, but here is the problem.
I must unjetpack the files but the exe wont work in Win7 so i installed everything on XP SP3.

Opening cmd and typing

md C:\TEST\BMW\
md C:\TEST\BMW\ISTA_V38\
cd C:\jetunpack
jetunpack E:\ISTA-P-AInst_38.0.0_--.jetarch C:\TEST\BMW\ISTA_V38\ <-- E: = mouted in Daemon Tools

jetunpack runs but doesnt install the files in the C:\TEST\BMW\ISTA_V38 directory that is made

What am i doing wrong?

Never mind, found it. Keystorefile was missing.

I Get This too on my IBM T30, i have the DIS V57 and the Progman(sss) V32

it only does this on my E60 545i but works perfect on my missus X5 (E53) i cant wrap my head around it.

i can change CKM (carkeymemory) options and i can use DIS, but cannot do anything else on the E60

i use the Ediabas obd2 Cable seriel, does anyone know how to get round this????

NCS Expert. (Strating to it)
I coded with succes
CAPPL ((CCC) for CDC, MP3, RDS)
- CAUDI
- CGATE
- CHOST
- CTUNE <-- needed also an entry for RDS to be displayed in the screen left bottem
and LMA - CAS for VO change (M-ASK to CCC)

Updated with succes other modules in the FA (VO) list, but the error still comes up in Progman.

Make BACKUP of the FSW_PSW.TRC file BEFORE making any changes!!
I store them with the extension of the modul e.g. FSW_PSW.TRC.CAPPL

I've searched but found nothing indicating 5.22, i think Progman is actualy communicating with the modules themeself and the CAS and LMA file is only to let the car know what options (modules) are mounted.
