In your opinion is this a good lease deal?
My fiance has been talking to a couple dealers in Southeast Michigan. She's looking into the following car:
2006 530xi Monaco Blue, black leather interior, sport pkg, premium pkg, premium sound pkg, cold weather pkg, auto trans, comfort access, power rear/manual side sun shades, fold down rear seat, park distance control, 18" wheels (Style 123), Nav. system, and SIRIUS satellite radio. MSRP = $61,765 incl. destination.
The best deals she has so far are:
1. 24 mo./15k miles per year: $1,091 down (including 1st mo. payment, plate transfer, etc. - total out of pocket) with payments of $856.32 per month (including MI 6% sales tax) or
2. 36 mo./15k miles per year: $1,079 down (including 1st mo. payment, plate transfer, etc. - total out of pocket) with payment sof $843.74 per month (including MI 6% sales tax).
Per my calculations, (using either a 72% or 60% residual respectively) and a money factor of .00155, I calculated the "negotiated" price of the car to be about $60,275.
I don't have experience leasing BMW's and was hoping from some input. Thanks in advance for your help.

Here's a lease calculator spreadsheet I posted a while back:
http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=17438&hl=
Using that, plus the lease info in the sticky at the top of this subforum will allow you to keep track of all the moving pieces:

Ask the dealer for the print out from the BMWFS system, so you can see what they're using for MSRP, money factor, residual, etc.

Thanks for the links. It looks like the Cap Cost is $3,185 over invoice for the 24 mo. term and $3,535 over invoice for the 36 mo. term. It looks like we still have a lot of negotiating to do. Thanks for your help.
Does anyone have any comments about the BMW dealers in Ann Arbor, Farmington and Grand Blanc's willingness to deal in today's market?
