be sure to get a report showing all the issues from BMW before it runs out.

in writing.

They get paid well by BMW to fix under warranty so they are normally good but the last thing you need is thousand of £$ after the warranty runs out.

The guy called me, he said they were going to keep the car for two days, since they needed to change the camshafts (I think that's what he said, I was asleep when he called I think that is what he said) but in either way, I asked him about my insurance running out, and he sounded a bit hesitant but did say something about being able to fix it even after the warranty runs out. I should get it back tomorrow, I will let you guys know exactly what they did to it, for future member reference. Thanks to all your replies BTW.

Ok just for future member reference, they replaced the "Cylinder head with Puma #31556915" So far, no noise.

Quick question ... is the Puma #31556915 unique to your case only or its a generic # like service/recall bulletin kinda thing? Tkx!
