When my Sirius radio subscription expired, I called a Sirius agent to reinstate service. I was parked on top of my condo parking garage with a clear unobstructed view of the sky. After 4 hours and numerous attempts to send a complete signal to my car radio, all I got was the message ‟acquiring signal.? Finally, the agent told me my factory radio was defective and take the car to the dealer. I thought to myself ‟hell no!? and went to bed. The next morning, the radio worked fine. What was the problem? Did it have anything to do with I-Drive? Sunspots? Clouds? Thanks.

Probably just needed to "reboot" things, which happened automatically once you turned the car off long enough for it to go to sleep, etc.
Glad it's working for you now...

Thanks Rudy.
During the 4 hour attempt, per agent instruction, I turned the car off and opened the door for 30 seconds -- twice. No luck. I guess I needed to let the car rest a little longer.
