Missing after service?

Hi,
Just had the car serviced and noticed that the rear of the passenger seat has been left exposed.
This was 30k service and vehicle check on pre LCI 2007 535d.
Does anyone know why this would be removed?
I just wondered if there is a logical reason why it is missing, before I talk to the dealer.

The vehicle check mean that they check out various bit of the body work both exterior and interior, i guess that may have removed it to check the condition of your seat. Could be fairly innocent, just go in a ask where it is.

I guess they could have been checking the power functions of the seat and just forgot to put the cover back?
