When my Sirius radio subscription expired, I called a Sirius agent to reinstate service. I was parked on top of my condo parking garage with a clear unobstructed view of the sky. After 4 hours and numerous attempts to send a complete signal to my car radio, all I got was the message ‟acquiring signal.? Finally, the agent told me my factory radio was defective and take the car to the dealer. I thought to myself ‟hell no!? and went to bed. The next morning, the radio worked fine. What was the problem? Did it have anything to do with I-Drive? Sunspots? Clouds? Thanks.

Probably just needed to "reboot" things, which happened automatically once you turned the car off long enough for it to go to sleep, etc.
Glad it's working for you now... |

Glad it's working for you now... Thanks Rudy. During the 4 hour attempt, per agent instruction, I turned the car off and opened the door for 30 seconds -- twice. No luck. I guess I needed to let the car rest a little longer. |
