I have a correction on my signature. We decided not to get HUD. My reasoning might not be justified, I just felt I didn't need it. I also think my order has been processed with out it and I asked my salesman to late. My loss

I don't think it's too late - your dealer is just too lazy!

Yeah, the dealer should be able to cancel that part of the order if you persist.

About unneeded options, I've had the car since late Feb when it was still a bit cold, but haven't used the cold weather package once.

Maybe splurge for the ventilated seats if that's an option.

It is probably not too late to make a change. The BMW manufacturing system allows changes up 10 days before production. I just got back from a tour of the Dingolfing plant (where the 5, 6, and 7 are manufactured), and the tour guide pointed out that with electronic systems linking the order to the factory, a "10 day car" is possible: 10 days from order to production of exactly that car. Amazing!

Consider whether you really want the HUD (I would, especially if you plan to use the Prof Nav at all) and if you want the option, simply let your Sales Advisor know in clear terms. I'm sure that he'll be happy to translate your wishes into reality.

Well the talley is in on the Suburban, $6,800.00 worth of damage. It will not be done until Sept. 28th. To bad the 545i will not come until Oct/Nov.

I checked the Owner's Circle on the 545i and the car has been issued a VIN number and the options are now listed on the site. I guess I need to get my financing in line. It seams to me the vehicle is about 2 weeks ahead of schedule. I was initially told the production date would be the 36th week of the year. I calculated that at aprox 9/12/04 or 9/19/04. I hope it comes early.
