FYI - I just saw the new lease money factors for October:

525/530 3 year lease - 0.001 money factor (2.4% APR)
550 3 year lease - 0.0015 money factor (3.6% APR)

Given short term interest rates have moved up over the past year, I am surprised BMW is offering these rates - probably due to the expected release of the 528/535.

Look at bond yields as they have fallen sharply in the last 90 days.

Rates will start easing back down again so lock in your CDs now

You are correct - I was referring to short term rates since they had the 0.001 money factors in early/mid 2005.
