I was forced if you like to purchase my latest E60 530 D M sport from a dealership other than my preferred choice. This was because they could not find a car either new or used to the spec I wanted. However I went back to the original dealership for servicing and warranty work, when I found a car elsewhere, because I liked the service they provide. Despite the fact I didnt buy the car from them they still provide me with excellent service. I recently pointed out that the idrive was slow and as a result they updated to the latest progman. The car has done 8000 miles and last week I noticed an unusual wear pattern on the front o/s disc. I left it with them yesterday expecting today or tomorrow as was arranged to be told there would be some charge for a possible disc and pad replacemnt. I was contacted this pm and told my car was ready for collection. The front pads and discs had been replaced under warranty. No hassle no sign at all of the its a consumable not covered. Just friendly professional service, fantastic. The dealership is called Broadoak BMW at Ashford Kent, not quite sure if Im allowed to mention the name. I am sure a mod will tell me if I shouldnt.
The car cost an arm and a leg, and a bit more. But frankly when your treated like this its worth it.
Anyone able to recommend any one for paintwork in the Kent area. I have a small but irritating stone chip that only I notice that I want sorted. Needs proper painting rather than touching in.
No one warned me that an E60 would become more than just a car.
