First off thanks to everyone on this great forum.
I was debating a '10 528 w/ ZMP (see "Am I a poser..." thread) and now looking at CPO '08 550 sport in the same price range.
Is this a good deal?
'08 BMW 550i CPO
11k miles
Carbon Black / Black Dakota
Step
CWP
ZSP
Ipod/USB
Nav
Logic 7
Asking Price: $53,000
Dealer offer: $49,000 (excludes tax/title)
This seems "fair" according to kbb, nada, edmunds but black book / manheim values (excluding recondition and CPO markup) appear to be in the high 30's - low $40's range. What's a good price to offer that is fair to both sides? It's also worth mentioning that the car is a lease return vs. auction purchase and is not on the lot yet...dealer has not incurred any marketing costs.

The 550 above not just a lousy CPO it probably has 3 years of new car warranty and free maintenance. It is a big, big difference.
