A little strange that the Swedish delaers at the same time have a upcoming price increase of 1-2% on all BMW cars built from 2006-04-01. (Can be the stupid Swedish Sek currency that made this increase.)
Hmmm... this with the other rumor of slow down in Jan-Feb production makes me wonder if there is another mid-year change in the works.

And does this incentive programm concern all the world or only certain countries?

Funny how they offer a bigger incentive for MB and Audi...wonder why any ideas?
Maybe use them as Guinea pigs?

This clearly indicates that Audi and MBZ are BMW's main competitors.

This is just like holdback for dealer from manufacturer. It'll be transparent to the buyers, so don't expect any discount from greedy dealers.

Yes, I also see it that way. But, the $1800 to $3600 is there. So, I would sure use that information when making an offer.

You are not that far from the truth. A 535 with same Turbo R6 motor as the 335 will have is upcoming here in EU and it will most probably replace the 540i. It sounds resonable that it will be introduced this summer.
