Hi Andy,
I can imagine the car really drives great. I have two questions dough. Have you tried if the cd player plays mp3? Ans does the voice responce system in your car work?
Greetings from another Dutch guy

Not yet. Thanks for reminding me. Will try it today, although I doubt if it works.

Looks you removed your model plate in your back side. Any reason?

Here its a factory option not to have it attached... I like it this way..
Anyway, I have as well the 545i logo just in case I change my mind.

So Andy's Greek too?? Jeez, maybe we need to start a Greek thread to challenge the Singapore and HK threads!?

BTW, that car looks blacker every time I look at it, Andy. Have fun!

Small update on the 545i , buddies!
Did 250km today, all of them fantastic!!
I tried an mp3 disc on the changer and dashboard slot - no joy, sorry!
That's software version 14.2
My bluetooth Siemens S55 is working really nice and smooth. No problems, apart from needing to transfer all contacts in the address book to the sim card. ( Thanks for the tip Dennis !! ) .
Voice recognition is working nicely as well, if you disregard the fact it's in German!!
Hmmm...must have been a small point I missed since I can't change this language
anywhere. Text input is confirmed English UK - but voice stays German. Not a real disaster, I'll pick it up eventually...but out of curiosity , is this like a permanent
situation or can it be changed with an update. Obviously it has a database of
vocabulary in German so switching everything to English must be somewhat major..
Does anyone know something on this??
And does someone have eventually the List Of Commands for the Voice Rec. in
German. ( pdf or something ) - would appreciate it!! TIA
HUD as mentioned is a dream - but I have now decreased the brightness offset
to medium, since high is too bright for night driving. ( Or I have sensitive eyes!! )
Adaptive headlights are really great, especially in dark neighbourhoods. Glad
I got them!!
LOGIC 7, just sublime!! Put in some jazz I picked up in New Orleans few weeks
back, words are not enough...I thought the Harmon Kardon 12 speaker setup in my E46 328i was good, this is something else. You don't 'hear' the bass, you
FEEL it.!!!
I like the climate control in the car. All the different auto programs, even seat heat
distribution - simply top class.
Life is good!!

Thanks JDN, can't wait to use the REJEX you gave me! I was also hoping to find the clear bra as you have on your 545i - but no luck yet in my local stores....
PS. Seriously considering the mud flaps as well. I think your arguments had a
positive effect on me regarding both practical and aesthetics alike!!
Regards to Barbara!

I also listen a lot of classic and jazz music in my car.. It sounds great!! Only thing is that with one of my Sinatra CD's I get a high whistling voice. It's the only CD I have this problem with!
