I would vote against the ceramic brake options. I havea friend with a GT3 who got the ceramic brakes becasue he takes the car to the track quite often. The brakes to not work great under normal driving conditions - I think they are specifically designed for high heat use, like other racing brakes.
More importantly, he is having warping and cracking issues - the very two things cermaics are supposed to prevent. To make it worse, Porche is not being cooperate about helping out with replacements. I think it was about an US $8500 option to begin with, and to replace all the ceramic components will cost significatnly more than that.
