Yeah, engine power is an ego thing especially when one is looking at "initial value." There's a difference between supercharging a regular vette versus a ZR-1 in the collectors arena. Sure on the street, you can take the extra risk to beat a competition at a cheaper price, but in the end, a ZR-1 (total package) will always be coveted than a regular SC vette or Z06.

It's about what you are after and different thinking for different Americans.

This isn't American thinking. Americans would want to add a shot of NOS

But if Ford, the Japanese and now the Germans are doing forced induction to keep up - why not play around with ole SOHC V-8 by using twin-cams (previous ZR1) or forced induction.
