This is strange because the E90 users have reported that it works completely with phone book and signal strength etc.
after update to the newest version Update_Service_Setup-2.7.4.8-2, everthing is worked as it should be, phone book as well

Just updated my P990 to the latest firmware using Update_Service_Setup-2.7.4.8-2 and it has made no difference at all. P990 still pairs with BMW BT but will not connect to enable calls or phone book sync.
In case spec makes difference, I have 2006 535D with Prof Sat Nav, Voice Control, Logic 7 & 6 CD Changer.
If mine does not work and yours does, maybe I should upgrade with US version as it ask for location when updating the software.
BMW only interested in quoting their compatibility table on BMW web site. Not good enough when you have spent ?40K+

Pairs OK, phone lists a full set of services available but the car shows no acknowledgement of the phone.
Going for CIP25 shortly so will see if it makes a difference.
Been impressed by the phone incidentally, but then I couldn't use the 910 with the car either.
