Anyone?

I'm waiting for the first person with Prof Sat Nav to confirm that this phone works. Then I run out and buy it. It has already been confirmed to work with cars without Nav.
I've just got my new P990i today, and it paired with the car first time with no problems and I can make and receive calls okay. I've got Sat Nav Pro and an older version of the CIP (17 or 18 I think). The phone's software version is R5A006 and it's BT version is R4F01, and is on the Vodafone network.

Have not got the address book to transfer though, which is a shame.

Are you planning to debrand your phone and then you can flash it with CXC162037 R7A001. With that you are supposed to be able to get phone book working too. I wonder what was different for this vodafone to work. But at least now I'll be no worse off than my P910i.

Any idea where can I get R7A001 from and how to unbrand the phone? I have run the SE updater and it says that I have the latest version.

http://www.kingmobilephone.com/ I used this guy for my P910i and got very good service. I don't know if people have started doing this for the 990 as yet.
Anyway apparently version R9A001 is around the corner too.

At one point I was going to write my own software on my P910i to sync up. I never got the time. Then I started looking at the P990i but that has move to Symbian UIQ 3 so different software again.

I wish there was someone out there like http://www.jetwaremobile.com/ for SE phones.

Anyone with Sat Nav managed to get this working yet? I'll be getting my phone soon so should be able to do a full review on what works and what doesn't.
