Can you answer call waiting w/bluetooth?

My Ride: 2005 E60 BMW 525i - BIRTHDAY- 11/04 - EXTERIOR- Amethyst Gray Metallic. INTERIOR- Beige Dakota Leather w/Dark Poplar Grain Wood. OPTIONS- Automatic Transmission, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, 6-disc CD changer, Bluetooth using Verizon Raza V3c phone, SIRIUS Satellite Radio. ADD-ON's- 545i Chrome Grill, Euro Red Reflectors, Factory all-weater matts & Factory Coat-Hanger.

I was on a call in my car a few min. ago and I had my friend who was sitting next to me call to see what would happen w/the call waiting w/the bluetooth and I heard the beep but there was no option to answer the other call or show me who was calling... can you do it?

I have not been able to answer calls while on another call through bluetooth.

I do not think this option works.

I can do it with my Treo650 but I have to answer it using the phone not through the iDrive.

Have you guys tried hitting the phone button on the steering wheel. Since this is a phone function (meaning, you have to flash or accept or switch on the phone) I don't think the bluetooth functionality will help there.

Post CIP 16x you can do it. But its a work in progress. Atleast as of CIP 16.1 you can press the phone button to go to second call. Just make sure you say bye to the first call coz you will loose it. I-drive will erroneously report that call 1 is still active but actually you are speaking on call 2. You also see the handset icon appear indicating a missed call.

I always lost the call I am on, and it switches over to the other call. Very annoying.
