Has anyone noticed that cell phone icon on the idrive screen? when i first connected my bluetooth i didn't see that. after a few months i noticed that cellphone icon on the idrive screen everytime my bluetooth is connected. now it's not there anymore but bluetooth still works. then yesterday lost connection on my bluetooth. phone won't connect at all and tried deleting the bluetooth connectivity and can't delete it. i even lost the voice command. press the voice command button and nothing happens not even a beep prompt. tried deleting it the next day and i was able to delete the bluetooth connectivity and had to redo the whole thing. bluetooth now works but the icon still not there.

It's this the phone you mean ?? It shows up when you have a missed call, and just means you should check your phone, to see what's up

yes, that's the one. when mine was showing it didn't mean that i have a miss call. it actually shows everytime the bluetooth is connected on my phone. i've been seeing that phone icon for more than a month straight till it finally disappeared.

Try going into the missed call screen in your I Drive communication menu. If there is a phone number listed or many numbers, use the Idrive controller to highlite it and press down, a menu will pop up , hilite delete and press down on controller, once numbers are deleted, the phone icon will disappear.

Yep the little phone symbol just means that you missed a call whilst the phone was paired with the car.

Nothing to do with you losing the connection - in my experience bluetooth is always a bit clunky and whilst the connection in the car generally works very well, occasionally you may need to delete the connection details and start from scratch.

Last time I did this I had turned bluetooth off on my phone, whilst it was connected to the car. When I turned it back on for some reason it wouldn't pair until I did the whole thing from scratch.
