MacFly, you rock!!! Is this some pre-released beta version?
thanks brotha! no, it's already GOLD....it's just some providers in other parts of the world comes out before our own. thus, the OS is made available and by simply deleting the vendor.xml file........you're able to to "unbrand" the OS to use with any provider.

i'm a huge crackberry addict, thus i follow all the BB blogs closely.

This OS release fixed my BB dropped-calls issue.

For the members out there that have gotten their hands on the Bold, you might be interested in this wallpaper. I'd seen something very similar either there or on another BMW site (apologies, and credit to the original poster). Put as the bold has a different resolution screen, that wallpaper didn't look right. This one fits in nicely with the Precision theme...

Looks like they're now saying "early October" for the AT&T release...

DELAYED!!!!

Various forums are now saying early November. I guess the delay is due to heat issues the battery is causing along with some 3G network compatibilities as well.

It could be late October -- Best Buy has it in their computer system as being available on 10/26. Obviously, that date could be incorrect but at least it's something concrete. I'm thinking that if Best Buy is getting it on the 26th, then it's possible that it could be available earlier through AT&T directly.

It looks like their starting to see some software problems in the UK (on the Orange network) and are now suspending shipments:

I'm guessing that these problems in the UK are similar to the ones that forced AT&T to delay things a bit...

i think i've had a change of heart! i've recently found out that you can successfully unlock the Thunder to use with the GSM network, in my case, TMO!

i don't know how i feel about a touch screen BB, but we'll soon find out!!
