I have to agree that the Treo (at least the Treo 650) really sucked when paired with the E60. Not only was there limited contact transfer, the handsfree audio quality was quite poor. I also had some poor audio quality with my Nokia 6230 and naturally, after having two phones sound like crap, I figured it was something with the BMW BT stack or with my microphone, etc.
Without changing anything on the car, I paired a BlackBerry 8700c and like magic the voice quality issues were gone!
I guess the bottom line is that when looking at BT phones for the E60, it's important to consider audio quality as well as phonebook transfer, etc.

samsung a990 has a 3.2 meg pixel camera and vid , mp3 and can plug into tv excellent external speakers.. its by far the best phone ive owened...eric
