I've had the phone about a month now and have noticed that only one number for each contact transfers over from the phone.
In outlook I have a lot of contacts with work/mobile numbers and I know that on the T610 I had previously the system put a (W) or (M) at the end of each entry.
Anyone else have this problem?

My Ride: BMW 530d for now, 630i Coupé in black with cream beige leather, light birch wood, automatic transmission, head-up display, navigation system professional, bluetooth as of Dec 05
I was in touch with BMW AG in Munich recently to discuss the BT profiles supported by them. During that discussion it was mentioned that this is a known problem with that phone.

Good to know that it's a known problem and a warning to anyone thinking of getting a 6230i that it's not fully compatible yet. Half the time I go to look for a number at the moment I get the wrong one so it's pretty useless unless I restructure Outlook but no way am I doing that.

I just had bluetooth retrofitted and the latest software installed (19.2?). I have tested on a Nokia 6230 with software version 5.24 (press *#0000# ) and the address book problem is still there, despite other posts that claim the problem is solved in Nokia softwar version 5.24...

Chrome Grills. M Double Spoke 19" Mixed Wheels 172 with 245/35 front and 275/30 rear (Non-runflat continentals) Spare wheel and jack. Supaglass.
If you set your preferred number for each contact as 'defaul number' is that the one it brings through ? I'm getting a brand new 6230i tomorrow and have just taken delivery of the new 535d M Sport, so hopefully I have the latest software on each. I'll let you know how it goes. Currently have a 6230 which connects, but without any phone book transfer at all.

Yes, the number that is used is the one that you select as "default" in your phone.
