Doesn't seem to be much info on this so I've attached a .wav file, this is what the car saves if you push the button on the steering wheel and then say "help". Note I don't have nav and can't control the radio or anything else, just the telephone on a Jan build UK spec 530d.

The system keeps a seperate phone book for voice dialing, first thing you have to do is say "Save Name" then say the name then say the number, it's read back to you and if ok you say "Save" You can record upto 50 names.

then if you want to call someone you say "Dial Name" then you say the name, the car then repeats your orginal voice for the name and if your happy you say dial.

I think it does other stuff like redial as well, need to read the book a bit more but so far I'm very impressed

I wish we could get the girl with the British accent here in the US

They should make the language and accent selectable in iDrive/NAV options.

A question to you all

Can you have a software upgrade to have that button on the steering wheel to control both phone and car fucntions (CD, Radio, Volume, etc)??????? <_<
