Rookie Drivers: Here’s Some Annoying Habits to Break

I am guilty of doing the very first annoying habit laid out in Car Throttle video below, wonderfully titled “9 Dumb Things You Do As a Rookie Driver”. I drive with my fog lights on during the day time, and to be quite honest, I don’t really think it’s all that annoying (at least not as much as those who drive with high-beams on, or no lights on at all). Maybe that’s my only guilty bad habit, but the rest I can see as things that can get on one’s nerves.

Some of the bad habits, which I am sure most of us can relate to, are people who are oblivious to highway lane usage, causing unforeseen amounts of traffic. If this one habit could be eliminated, perhaps there is a glimmer of hope for higher speed-limits on our highways.

I have to also add the Toyota (usually) drivers who manage to do 47mph everywhere: on the highway, on rural roads, in school zones, in parking lots, into walls and other cars…

BMW drivers are oft accused of one particular annoying driving habit, and that’s the use of turn signals, or lack thereof. But this has me thinking: do some car habits associate themselves with one car company more than others? Are there any car brands that escape this horrible clutch of bad driving habits?
