a lot of people are asking me why the fogs do not turn on when installed. if it does not turn on, flip the connection around. that means the positive and negative are connected wrong. flip either the plug from the ballast to the extended wire or the extended wire to the factory plug.


I also usually ship without the box to reduce shipping costs.

 

i'm getting error message "low beam malfunction". and the low beam light does not turn on. I re-checked all connection, even tested with original bulb, but my D1s that you sent is not in working proper working order.

I tinker'd with it, and it will go on after using the headlight knob (turning on the headlight then off several times.... finally it would turn on)

is there any chacne you can send me another set of D1S 6000k bulbs? i fee like i got defective one! thanks let me know i'll resend the old ones back! thanks

Question for those with the HID fog conversions. I hate my yellow halogen fogs with stock Xenons...basically dont turn them on.

The pictures I have seen make the fogs look VERY bright. Are they incredibly bright as to be annoying to other drivers or police?

Any reason I cant do this to both my 550i and X3?

I can upgrade low beams and foglights. The low beams are D1S bulbs and I can offer a package deal with the HID fogs. They wont be annoying to other drivers or cops. U can do this to both ur 550 and x3

Are you sure the lowbeam bulbs are D1S? The front of my Xenon says D2S. My car is '07 530i pre-LCI. I'm planning to buy 2 pairs (1 pair for my wife's X5, which also says D2S). What's the diff between D1S and D2S?
