Did you subject it to a car wash to see if there's any condensation with the sealant you used?
Can't easily test it since we don't get rain down here, lol.

The problem with HID is 3 fold:
1) HID has a failure rate at least 3X higher than LED.
2) They are too bright on the high beam on LCI lights. They wash it out completely.
3) They will eventually burn the fiber optic ends to a dull yellow color.
We do not recommend their usage, even though we dabbled in it a bit:

Are they the V2's on the left side? Or is that stock?

Just wanted to explain the differences a little on the angel eyes site to make it more clear, we're going to break this post out of this thread to help users better decide what products to get for their cars.
There are essentially 3 types of headlights:
1) Halogen (with angel eyes)
2) Xenon (with angel eyes)
3) LCI Xenon (with angel eyes) LCI = 2008+ headlights
For #1
You can choose:
a) Orion V2 - the brightest, most reliable, and most widely installed LED based kit on the market today
b) Custom application of your choosing - LED/CCFL/ETC.
The lights will require cutting almost no matter what solution you choose a/b.
For #2
You can choose more:
a) Orion V2 - the brightest, most reliable, and most widely installed LED based kit on the market today
b) Predator ICE V2 - mid level brightness on par with Mtec V2
c) Mtec V1 - on par with RaceDash
d) Mtec V2 - mid level brightness on par with Predator ICE V2
e) RaceDash - lowest level output, least expensive
f) Predator ICE V3 - TBD later this money Jan 2010
g) AIB - mid level brightness on par with Mtec V2/ICE V2
h) Various eBay/non-Branded kits - on par with Racedash
For #3

i wired mine myself. In order to make this plug and play you still need to run resistors which can be found at radio shack, the 10 ohm one. For the power source I used the plug from the angel eye plug. As for the white housing, i removed completely so they can fit easier in the headlight housing, if you do remove the white housing be sure to wrap it with electrical tape.
-If i don't include the resistors when wiring, will i get a bulb out error code?
-I wanted to know how the resistors are incorporated when wiring. I am assuming that they are wired in-line between the power source and the Orion V2s, but how are they attached? Wire Taps?
-Can I use a dremel to cut the headlight?

Hey r9ndy, I am going to attempt this install, but had a few questions....I thank you in advance for all your help.
-If i don't include the resistors when wiring, will i get a bulb out error code?

And using a dremel to cut the headlight sounds like u'll be going through a lot of dremel heads. These headlights are tough man. I'm going to do the solder iron route tonight. lucky i have a really sharp point and adjustable temp one so i can put it full blast and melt away.
