I have a 2006 530xi with comfort seats ... can I swap the door panels and seats for the same parts off a LCI (want auburn or white interior)? Would it be plug and play or would I need to code everything? ... Also, I see the n54 engine is around $6,000 which is pretty cheap considering a supercharger for n52 engine cost around $4,000 to $7,000 and only adds 50+ horsepower  the n54 engine starts off with around 300hp and can upgrade to about 400hp.. Anyways how hard will it be to do an engine swap? Can a 550i v8 engine fit (don't mind being the first xi with a v8 )? I never had one done before so I'm clueless lol

Why not just take some of that loose pocket change and buy this one?

I might be crazy for saying this, but I saw a dark blue F10 today with no front plates, and thought it actually looked good. I was slightly confused at first because I didn't recognize it right away and thought it was the LCI 3 series. I swear the F10 has to be in dark colors to look good.

I think the cost of upgrading would warrant just buying an actual 2008-10 535 and you would have something pieced milled together and for sure none of the headaches!

+1 Unless your car is super super modded I'd just trade it in for a 535i. Like I mean Retrofitted M5 suspension or flux capacitor upgrades. In all seriousness, if you have every mod for the E60 chassis already on your car and then some, I understand why you want to just swap that stuff in.

Glad I'm not the only one. F10 has E9x lines all over it.

The new 6 series however.....
