Smile xi offset problem confused !!!

Hello to everyone and the community of 5 series
so im back again here , after selling my 525xi 2007 last year, i just bought a 535xi 2008 last month and not lucky so far, had to repair the trans but now the babe is back home again anyways
so ive been going all over the forum to find the right wheel set up for the xi but not a lot of people talk about it.
i got the base wheel on my 535xi 17" but considering going with the 19" bmw style M351 which is on the F10 sport. the offset for the xi and the i is completely different.
is the M351 going to fit my car without the spacer and if yes what tires size i can go with ?( 245/30 or ...?)
i need help please the dealers here in canada dont know a lot about rims, they just know how to sell you the car loool

Welcome back!

First of all, you state:

What!? We have had an entire thread for several years that discusses this very topic ad nausium. Plus, we have a separate forum for wheels and tires (which I moved this thread to) that also provides guidance.

https://5series.net/forums/tires-whe...ions-xi-95139/

Next, you ask:

is the M351 going to fit my car without the spacer?
The answer is yes. See BMW wheel style 351 | BmwStyleWheels.com

The most important thing to remember with an xi is to ensure that with whatever wheel and tire combination you select, the rolling circumference on all four wheels has to be the same within 3%. Otherwise, you risk trashing your differential. You can use a site like Online Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator. Offset, Tyre Stretch and Speedo Error | Will They Fit to determine this.

Good luck!

To make things simple, all xi wheels have similar offset, so interchanging wheels is possible. Both 3and 5 series are compatible.
