I have a 2009 535i and I tried to put M5 wheels on my car and they rub a lot? How were you able to put your wheels on without them scrubbing or burning the inside of your tire?

They're replicas made to xi specs, not OEM specs.

Where do they rub? Front or rear?8.5.5

Yeah, they do. The front tires are rubbing. Was told to look into getting a spacer but, at this point I’d rather just keep the 18s on because it wouldn’t further damage anything else.

Are they rubbing on the strut or on the fender liner on the outside? What size tires are you running? And correct me if I'm wrong but OEM Style 166 are 19's?

this is when I had them on my car. And yes! You’re right the OEMs are 19s...didn’t know that until AFTER I bought them...thought it would work, but they look terrible...I think I chose the wrong size tire too smdh 😢🤦🏽‍♂️
