Thanks for the feedback. Based on your setup, do you think there will be any rubbing?

based on my setup? I've been on my current setup for over 5 years so yeah I'm pretty sure of no rubbing based on mine ...
... and I'm so certain & planning on going wider on the rear on my next tire set from 275 -> 285.

... or you mean rubbing issue with style 95? If yes, I think if you use that offset your fender lip will be over top of the tire so when hitting something like road dip it'll rub.

Thanks in advance

Well ... why not try yourself ... use any tire size calculator site like 1010tires.com so:

http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Tire-...5R20/275-30R20

You'll see 4 tables 1st two are commonly recommended 19" setup (in which I've been using for the past 5 years) and the last two are your sizes ... what xi/xDrive/AWD should concern is on line 4 difference front & rear in which you can compare the 19" setup has exactly the same difference with 20" (obviously 1" more).

So based on the comparison table your tire sizes should be OK.

As promised. Thanks to Eddy @ ModBargain for hooking me up, these look awesome! Really gives the car a new look compared to the OEM wheels which I hated!
Car needs to be washed, but it's supposed to rain today so I snapped a couple of quick shots. No rubbing what so ever, looks like there's room for more!

Yea i did it on tire rack thats how i got the numbers of the overall diameter.

My question was is it ok that there is a slight difference between the front and rear overall diameter would that cause any issues. But you answered it for me because your numbers are very similar to the ones i got and youve had no problems.

Thanks for the reply

Sticking out past the fender by a cm doesn't mean they "fit no problem". It means they do not "fit". It means that under hard cornering, the top of the fender will rub down on top of the tire. This is especially the case up front. The rear may just tuck in under loading as the angle changes.

My term of "fit" is the lug nut pattern fit, the center bore fit and nothing leaning against the brake caliper that prevent the movement of the wheel or other stuff and clear the strut etc ... OTH protrude past the fender is more of preference some (don't get me wrong I'm not) like that kind of look and such fitment present no danger just can't do hard driving unlike my term of 'fitment' if using wrong offset and the tire hard press on the strut and/or the spoke of the wheel leaning on the brake caliper or using Mercedes or Audi wheel on E60 etc that would be = not fit.

Some fit 3 series tire sizes ... it fits no problem but not recommended, some tried to put M5 OEM tires ... it fits no problem but rub ... no difference w/ past the fender outcome ... so on & so forth ... but still drivable just more restricted.

Now take a look the question I replied again if the question ... 'would it fit properly' ... it'll be a different story ...

My apologies. ok, I see what you mean. Yes, they would "mount" . Thinner tires (3 series size) would be "stupid" in my, NOT so humble, opinion! Stock E60 size is already showing a few % slower mph/odometer. I'll have to check again but I thought my larger than e60 tire diameters actually create true mph based on gps. I'll check next time on the highway.

3 series wheels are fine, "fit" in all aspects but 3 series tires would be pretty bad idea for any practical use of the cars.

Personally, I like the idea of m5 fenders allowing deeper front wheels, then ad M5 tire diameter, like mine, and 20" wheels, which would still retain a decent sidewall for real world day to day use. 9 to 9.5" front and 10 to 10.5" rear

Yup ... you are right ... at least more and more member(s) go w/ 40/35 sidewall now at least extra cushion but in my case I have to swap all 4 corners so my only excuse now to swap the rear wider to 285 but stay 30 profile to get a bit more meat when new tire is due and have to keep the front as is at 245/35 'cuz the threads still OK.
