there is no "answer". it's info you have to digest, consider, and choose how close to it working or being weird you are willing to go, which in itself is also subjective. some people "stretch" and love it, that means hell yeah, your spec would fit. other people don't want to rub when tracking a car, or lowering, or want to retain a proper spec tire.

you'll actually get MORE information using the search than relying on someone seeing or caring about your simple posted question that is written as if you have done zero homework.

Anyone know anything about Kelleners wheels? I love their Berlin style but the information I was given from the distributor basically is that they will not fit an E60 xi:

"I’m sorry to say these wheels aren’t offered specifically for the AWD versions before 2011. From 2004 through 2010 the AWD 5 series models used a base wheel offset of around 40mm where the RWD versions were 15mm. Kelleners makes the same wheel for most models and they have spacer kits to change the offset for lower offset cars. Unfortunately the maximum offset they offer is 30mm which is 10mm off from where your stock offset for a factory width wheel. In a wider aftermarket wheel a 30mm offset would physically bolt onto the car but they would stick out too far and rubbing would be very likely. Starting in 2011 here in the US the 5 series cars in the current body style all use the same wheel offset so the wheels interchange between RWD and AWD models."

Anyone have a work around? I am still somewhat confised by offsets, etc. and appreciate the help.

My opinion is both the Kelleners 19x8.5" and 19x9.5" with ET30 would fit as long as you don't go too wide on the rear tire. Remember I run a 19x10" rear, ET25 and just barely rub on very large dips. My setup would stick out further than what you're proposing.

What would you consider too wide? Or better yet, what would you run for a tire on a 9.5" rear?

ET 30 is totally fine if the rim itself isn't too wide. I have ET29 8.5" wheels and there is no rubbing and they look perfectly flush in the front. The rear look almost factory with their slight inset. However the rear are also 8.5" but could easily fit a 9.5" version because 1/2 the extra 1" width over mine would be on the inside. Thinking of buying squared setup of 19x8.5" with et43. Per the offset calculator and this thread, I know it will fit just fine on the outer side. But how much of inner clearance do you need to maintain? Per the offset calculator, I will have 13mm LESS with new setup. I know I can always push it out with 5mm spacer, but just curious on recommended inner clearance.

* Currently running on stock 17x7.5" et43.

hey guys I'm about to buy a set of I-forged aeros for my 09 Xi a had a question. the fronts are 20x8.5+26 and the rears are 20x10+33. they should fit no problem right ??
