Thats why I was saying... just leave performance comparisons in the General Discussion forum and everything is done with. PERIOD!

Agreed. But, with the stipulation that 5er performance tests, when other makes or other BMW models are involved, also are housed in the E60 Discussion.
So far it is correct.
I only said I don't see the need, I, myself, as a person, not as a moderator.
That means I don't support the suggestion, but if this forum comes, I will simply support is as any other forum. I read everything, even if I on't like the topic.

And since it would be inappropriate to leave it in the main forum when other cars are involved, or it is a meeting, the logic that follows says there should be a seperate forum for it.
So far it is correct.

I am sorry Ice, but I am confused by much of what you said above. I won't try to interpret. Would you mind trying to clarify what you are saying above? Thanks.
I don't know how to say it other than I did.
It is pretty clear to me.
When other cars are involved, or if it is a meet, it should be moved, it would be inappropriate to leave it in the main forum. And if (as just done here) someone suggests that we simply leave all those threads in the main forum, this is inappropriate, and the logic says, there THEN has to be a new forum for all those threads. As I said in another thread, not a subforum, a regular forum.
BUT: I, as a person, don't see the need and would do it just as it was done until today, move the htreads to the correct places.
And I said I don't make the decission of creating a new forum. But if it will be created I will just handle it as all other forums. I have no problem in reading stuff that I don't like and that I disagree with. Other people see things different. That's OK.
So... If you want to have me on your side, you'd need to ask our admins if all performance related threads, no matter if it's a meet or if other cars are involved, can stay in the main forum. THEN I'd say, NO, please create a new forum. But I don't think we need it, since the moving is OK IMHO.

... where it pertains to multiple individuals testing 5-Series performance in any context, that the topic be housed in the new forum and not, for example, in the Meet and Greet Forum....
But again: not my decission if we will have this forum. (that means there still is a chance, since I wouldn't create it but Mark maybe will
)
