I'm not 100% sure but I think views (and some other board counters) are not always updated in real time. The reply count, however, is going to be accurate since once a reply is posted, it's immediately counted.
I can only assume that the counters accumulate and increment in batches or something to more efficiently utilize server resources, etc.
