You can turn the signatures off if you don't want to see them.

OP, perhaps this would be a great time to point out specific member signatures that have gotten your ire up.
After said offenders are flagged, the Sheriff will handle each violator accordingly.

This is NO solution!!!
The solution is: NO big pics or NON pics at all in ANY signature!
It really looks ridiculous on some pages!

Lomag, Rudy and yourself do a great job on this site and I cannot agree that more policing is needed for things that have the ability to be disabled. This is the same kind of ridiculousness as those that complain about what's on TV and radio, while forgetting that they have a remote or dial to change the station: If you don't like it you can easily make it so you don't have to see it. We have already agreed that "T&A" sigs and avatars are a no-no, we have already gone over the behavior and antagonism that was beginning on the forum, now we have to start nit picking?
Personally I LIKE sigs like Rizbel's and DRANGED's - they show the mods and creativity of their 5ers very simply. Again for those that don't want to see them - disable them and they won't bother you

Disabling signatures means, all infos are not displayed any more, even helpful infos.
So, this is no solution.
Now, tell me the benefit of having signature pics, please!
Why do I have to see all those pics over and over again?
What is the useful information that comes with it?
I'm just asking...
Do you realize, that some people have slow internet connections and the site takes a while to beeing displayed in full?
While waiting, you can't read, because the place for the pics is not just empty, it doesn't exist until the pic gets loaded. And every picture that gets loaded makes the page jump/scroll.
This is just like sitting in a restaurant smoking and telling other people who don't like it to go outside!
Fact is, it is kind of annoying what we see here sometimes and from some members. And as long as it annoys other members we have to think about making this place enjoyable for them too. And by "we" I don't necessarily mean mods and admins, I mean all of us in this community.
So, DOWNSIZE your signature pics, or better, put a link in your signature to your gallery where pics can be found. That would be a solution.
