I remember that the old version of the software, if you chose to view the results of a poll without voting, you'd essentially give up your vote permanently (cast a null vote and not be allowed to vote later).

I thought that was a good idea since it prevented people from voting after seeing how others have voted.

Now, it seems you can view the results but then go back and vote.

My vote is to put it back the way it was -- if you peek at the results, you lost your ability to vote.

Anyone have any opinions? Mark, is this something that can be toggled on and off?

I noticed that too. So, now you are saying there won't be cheating? At least we might more negative answers.
Why do so many people view and not respond? There is the opportunity to give a null or positive answer. Is the views counter defective?

I wouldn't assume that each view is from one individual person. There are certain people here who read every new post, etc. The view count is going to increment every time someone looks at the thread so if you have 10 people looking at 10 replies, you'll get 100 views.

Sometimes it happens to me too. I click on the little icon in front of the threads name, what brings up the last unread post. You can't see the poll on top of the page... So, if you missed the word "poll" in the threads name, you don't vote... I sometimes vote after a couple hours, because I boticed there is a poll...
