Certainly, start with your concept, Mark, keep it flexible and let it evolve as it has here. How can you go wrong? With your infallible judgment in running things here and a few ideas from the membership, it should do just swimmingly.
The E60 probably will always have a bit of a cult status. Due to Bangle, it does have a most distinctive BMW personality inside and out. We, nevertheless, need to be connected with the new incarnation as many of here will end up with at least the LCI version as time drives onward.

Thanks for the foresight on this one. I vote for 5erforumS as well.

With my 2009 550, I won't be in a F10 until 2012 and I agree that keeping this community together needs to happen.

I also like the plural.

Not what you asked, but if you are going to make a change, I'll mention it anyway: might you consider using vbulletin for the next forum incarnation? I do not represent vbulletin in any way, but most of the forums I post to use it. Personally, I find it a much better interface than invision.
