As I said, it's obvious your shop does good work - hell my car is lightyears from yours. It was just a thought.

and well taken no doubt, I think that DIY should have special consideration too

I like the idea (and the ideas that would come out of seeing everyone's mods)

I have seen this on other forums before and it is kind of cool... people throw out nominations for car of the month then the top three nominated cars are voted on and then the winning car is plastered on the front page of the site.
yeah thats exactly it

And thats awesome and I have respect for that, the problem is that this needs to be open to everyone on the forum, and leave it up to the members to decide if what is more valued

I have around $17k in mods in my car, most DIY dont have that or the level of mods I do but I wouldnt want to not give the DIYers the opportunity to showcase what they have.

Mods are mods, doesnt matter how you got them installed

I DIY'ed tons of things on my car, which I have spent tons of money on, so I disagree that they can not have that "Level of Mods" I have personally installed every single item on my car, other than the exhaust and painting my roof.

Still, PTL may be onto something - a featured car spread would allow ALL of us to get even more ideas on what is possible with our rides (whether we DIY or not). I would think you need some criteria anyway, like just an M-Tech kit and wheels isn't quite good enough (too common). Something like PTL's car or even Joe from Trinity's?

PTL has an excellent idea but you're making it more difficult than it needs to be. Anyone can and should be able to submit pics of their car, regardless if it's modded or not and how the mods were done. They can also submit a short story about the car or themselves for consideration. Members can then vote and select a winner. Anyone can win, even if it's a bone stock vehicle with possibly a good story line behind it.

Yeah but I whole heartedly feel that those with a majority of RD Sport mods should not be allowed to enter. Not because they will win, but because nobody cares to hear their story.
