WTB: OEM 123 wheel(s) 18"
Hello!
New to the forum and BMW- crossed over from Audi. Thus far, I like what I see!
I own a 2006 530xi and was recently informed one rim has a crack. It is causing a slow air pressure leak, about 10 lbs of pressure over a 10-15 day period. I only really need one rim, but if the price is right, I will consider all 4 rims with or without tires.
Thanks!
PS- Located just outside Chicago, would be willing to work with seller for shipping.

Dunno exactly, as little as possible I guess, I have seen them on here for as low as $400. It would be nice to find a good deal. They don't have to be in perfect condition. I don't mind some curb rash- just don't want any bent or cracked.
I will keep an eye out on ebay like you suggested as well. Thanks for the tip!
I have one ... but just like you keeping it handy ... JUST IN CASE! RFTs CRAPPY ROADS .... and you know what that means. You could consider having a qualified wheel repair shop repair and refinish your wheel. Those services are usually pretty effective and reasonably priced (> $150.00). Your dealer SA could refer you to one in the neighborhood.
BTW, as far as price goes, when one of mine was replaced by my dealer, new it was about $400.

Took it to a GoodYear tire center and the tech told us it was cracked causing the slow leak and a repair was already attempted. Therefore, he said you cannot repair it (of course) but we are still looking into that as well. Not saying the guy is a BS'r, but he is in the business of selling rims and tires so it is best to get a second opinion. I didn't think to ask my SA to recommend a repair center- I will try that. Thx!
