Hi all,
I just bought my first BMW... 530I and LOVE it!!!! Just can't get the steering wheel heater to work and looks like the steering wheel needs to be changed out. Almost impossible to find it on EBay and I'm not paying the dealer my 1st born just to get the heater functioning again.

If anyone has the sport model (round air bag) with a working steering wheel heater lying around, I would be most appreciateive if you are willing to part with it?

I would also be willing to give up my sport wheel and go with the standard one if anyone wants to trade?

I kinda prefer the look of the standard wheel anyway but that would mean a new airbag too...

Oh, and before anyone asks... yes, it's out of warranty hense the problem.

Oh man... I'm in Toronto, Canada. If you are still willing, let me know as I would be willing to pay for all shipping. Only issue is that I can't go without a car for the length of time as it's my only vehicle to get to/from work. If you think there's a way to work this out, I would be most willing and appreciative.

You should be able to find someone to make that trade (wheel and airbag). If I had a heated wheel I'd consider it -- good excuse for a weekend to Toronto!

Here's another option for anyone looking to upgrade their wheel to an M wheel....

If you currently have a sport, heated wheel, I'll buy that from you so you can recoup a bunch of your cost on a new M wheel! How's that deal sound???
