ok now im stepping in because you are misrepresenting these,
the tires are too large for a non M e60. They in fact WILL RUB during normal driving conditions.
You are new to this forum and a really only here to sell these which is fine, just be upfront with people about what the wheels and tires will do for non M e60's and youll sell them much faster

If I were buying 166s for a non-M5 E60, I'd buy the wheels only and slap on my 550-sized tires. You cannot run the M5 sized tires on a non-M5 E60 without rubbing (unless you are rolling fenders).

yeah straight m5 tire size requires additional alterations to make it not rub, this seller was trying to make it seem that it wouldnt be an issue

1) I may not be very active on this forum, however, I am very active on the M5board so far from a newbie
2) Don't assume that I am only on this board to sell my wheels, if you validated your claim you would see that I have been on this board to learn more about he E60 M5 and what I could do with my vehicle.
3) In my first reply to you I stated that rolling fendors is an option, clearly indicating that rub can occur
4) I am selling the wheels and tires, whether somebody is looking for replacements for their after market wheels on an M5, or placement on a 530, makes no difference to me.
Net-Net: I would appreciate it if you would refrain from making claims as to the motive behind my use of the board when you have not completed proper validation as to the person you are referring to. If you simply want to ensure that regular 5 series owners understand what they must do to have this setup work for them then I support it and welcome your experience and insights as we are both aligned in that common goal. I too have benefited from the collective knowledge on this and other boards when making decisions about my own modifications.

Nobody cares about your little speech big guy. If you were upfront about the issues that a non M owner would have trying to run these then you wouldnt have me in your thread saying anything other then good luck with the sale.

I suggest you pay the minimal amount of $30 or whatever your local shop charges to split the tires from the wheels and sell them separately. There are many more NON-M owners than there are M owners, so obviously the tires will be of no use to most of us.
