I paid $1700 for the kit and $1200 for paint and install. The company that did it used PPG paint, which is what my local BMW dealer uses. They were also really experienced in painting BMWs and Mercedes Benzs. If I were you I wouldn't skimp on a good paint job done by professionals. If you think you can install it without scratching the paint, more power to you!
